The first organization in this field in India to have received ISO 9002, now ISO 9001:2000 accreditation from world-renowned TUV, Germany and AD/W2 PED 97/23/EC Annex 1, CLAUSE 4.3 accreditation also from TUV Germany.
With a humble beginning about 30 years back at Andheri, a suburb of Mumbai, we have now grown into a manufacturing unit spread over 7 acres at Tarapur, about 120 KM, from Mumbai, with installed capacity of 6000 M.T. per year.
Our manufacturing unit is equipped with machinery of latest technology backed up by experience & expertise to deliver quality product to the entire satisfaction of our valued customer. Our in-house testing facilities backed up with full fledged laboratory makes us totally independent of testing laboratories apart from strengthening confidence of inspection agencies.
We are registered with third party inspection agencies like M/s. Llyods Register of Industrial Services, M/s. Bureau Veritas apart from consultancy organization like M/s. Engineers India Ltd., M/s. Our products have been working satisfactorily for years in the world of Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Pharmaceuticals, Paper & Pulp Industries, critical applications of Nuclear Plants. Repeat orders from most of the clients is a testimony to the confidence generated with our valued customers. Meeting customer requirement and customer satisfaction is the main goal for REMI. Inspection department is obviously no exception to this. Quality checks are carried out at every stage of manufacturing, right from raw material to finished product. Raw material only from established & reputed source are procured .No raw material without original test is accepted. Even with original certificates, random check testing is carried out to ascertain quality of the material. Material moves from one stage to next stage only after approval from quality control department. Proper tagging enables the inspector to co-relate the finished product with raw material utilized and the history of material can be ascertained at the stage. 100% check testing of finished product is carried out to ensure that the product meets the technical requirement of contract. No material leaves factory premises without clearance & certification from the Q.C. department.
Each tube / pipe is properly marked with size, specification, grade and heat number. It is end protected, covered with the polythene bag and securely packed in seaworthy packing, mill certificate is provided with every consignment.
