Whole Black Pepper
The whole, dried, mature berries of the plant Piper Nigrum. The berries are black to dark brown in colour with a hot, biting and pungent taste and a sharp and penetrating odour. The finished product is clean, washed and mechanically dried and packed in burlap bags of 50 kgs (110 lbs). The product can be processed and packaged to meet varying customer specifications. Sterilization (by steam or ehtylene oxide) can be done at the option of the customer
We have an automated plant with the capability to process whole black pepper to customer specific requirements. The plant is equipped with sophisticated machinery supplemented by rare earth magnets placed at strategic points to ensure a metal-free product conforming to the exacting standards of ASTA, USFDA, UK Food Safety Act and EU regulations. A steam sterilizing facility has been incorporated in the black pepper line, allowing us to steam sterilise the pepper if the customer requirement demands sterilisation by steam. We currently process and export to the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific including Australia onforming to differing specifications across countries and customers.
